Top tips for introducing nail treatments into your salon
Help clients resurrect post-party pinkies and restore natural nails to optimum condition by introducing nail treatments into your salon menu.
We’ve pulled together our top 5 tips to get you started…
1. Treatment within a Treatment:
Try offering a nail treatment as an additional service within a manicure or gel soak off. We recommend using IBX Repair to treat the nail bed from within whilst strengthening and protecting your nails.
2. The Perfect Package:
Why not package up a cuticle tidy, hand massage and intensive treatment as a stand-alone service? Or if you offer other detox treatments such as facials or body wraps, combine to give a top-to-toe treatment service! The ASP Intensive Treatment Dermal wrap which is an intensely hydrating, heat activated wrap that penetrates deep into the dermal layer would be a perfect addition to your menu.
3. Retail and Reap:
Keep your client’s nails healthy between treatments by introducing some retail friendly products like the S Professional treatment range to retail on to your customers. Try putting them on display in the front of your window or at the till point, or even run a bundle promotion with their selected polish.
4. Pamper Parties:
How about holding private pamper parties? Not only will this help bring in some extra cash, but also offer another point of difference for you compared to your competitors. With a main focus on manicures and pedicures, introducing nail treatments into this mix would be a no brainer! You could even package this idea up to sell directly to your customers to hold their own pamper party at home.
5. Competition Time:
Upsell to your clients! Try incentivizing your staff to upsell your new nail treatments with a fun competition. Prizes could be anything from a Salon Services voucher to a free 3 course dinner!
