Ingredients

Prepare your colour palette and divide the hair into sections in preparation for colour application.

To lighten:
Blondorplex 9 Powder Lightener + Welloxon Perfect Developer 6%

To colour:
Formula A: Shinefinity 00/56 Rose Booster
Formula B: 30g Shinefinity 010/36 Vanilla Flash + 10g Shinefinity 08/34 Warm Spicy Ginger

Mix with Shinefinity Bowl + Brush Activator (1:1)

Step 1: Lighten

Lighten the regrowth area with Blondorplex 9, Wella's most advanced lightener for up to 9 levels of lift.

Develop, rinse and condition in preparation for colour.

Step 2: Colour

Apply Formula A at the root area throughout.

Apply Formula B to the mid-lengths and melt into Formula A at the roots with your fingers.

Then apply Formula A onto the ends and melt with fingers into Formula B.

Develop, rinse, and apply a Post Color Treatment.

Created by @nikkiclifford_hair, ‘Pink Haze’ is a great way of working with on-trend, creative colours in a softer, more blended way. For clients who like lower maintenance colour but also like to experiment, Shinefinity's zero-lift and zero-damage shades are perfect.

To lighten:
Blondorplex 9 Powder Lightener + Welloxon Perfect Developer 6%

To colour:
Formula A. Base Toner & Hexagon root and tip: Equal parts - Shinefinity 010/36 Vanilla Flash + Shinefinity 00/56 Rose Booster

Formula B. Hexagon mid-band: 20g Shinefinity 09/3 Golden Honey + 10g Shinefinity 08/34 Warm Spicy Ginger

All mixed with Shinefinity Brush and Bowl Activator (1:1)

Step 1: Lighten

Pre-Lighten the hair using Wella Blondorplex 9 Powder Lightener + Welloxon Perfect 6% Developer.

Apply in a classic herringbone pattern foil technique.

Develop, rinse and condition in preparation for colour.

Step 2: Colour, Formula A

Divide the pre-lightened hair into 2 sections:

  1. Top hexagon section
  2. Underneath section.


Apply Formula A to the underneath section and hairline – roots to points.

In the top Hexagon section, apply Formula A to the top root area and the tips of the hair covering a 1/3 of the hair at the tip and a 1/3 of the hair at the roots.
 

Step 3: Colour, Formula B

Apply Formula B to the mid-band of the hexagon section.

Develop for 15-20 minutes, rinse, and apply a Post Color Treatment.

Get the look: Sunset Blonde

 

‘Sunset Blonde’ by @heatherrobertson.hair is a super technique for clients who like to be light and bright around the face frame. The shades blending from light to dark at the back is a great way to add volume and the appearance of thicker hair, making this look a great choice for clients with finer textured hair.

Step 2: Section

Divide the pre-lightened hair into 3 sections:

  1. Top Halo Section
  2. Front Face Frame Section
  3. Lower Crescent Section

Step 3: Colour

Apply the Lower Crescent and Top Halo formulas first and develop for 15 minutes.

For the last 5 minutes, apply the Front Face Frame section.

Develop, rinse and apply a Post Color Treatment.
