Plan a party with other freelancers
Chances are you know other local hair and beauty freelancers. So why not join forces and plan a festive Freelancer Christmas Party get together. It could be as simple as a pub lunch or a full-on party in a hall or private room. Not only is it an opportunity to blow off some steam from the December rush, it’s also a great way to network.
Make contact with other freelancers on Instagram or join some local Facebook groups.

Have a Christmas party with your clients
If meeting up with other freelancers doesn’t take your fancy, why not do something for your clients? You could organise drinks and nibbles at your home for all of your regular customers.
Better yet, as Christmas is a time of charity and goodwill, why not organise a Christmas dinner for older clients who could be particularly lonely at this time of year? If you’re concerned about planning a work Christmas party on a budget, ask them to contribute a small amount of money to cover the food and drink, or to pay for a meal in a pub or restaurant. It’s a small gesture that could mean a lot to some of your most valued customers.
Do something for yourself
If you don’t like the idea of planning an event then why not do something for yourself? It doesn’t have to be a Christmas party, but instead do something nice for yourself. It could be a day at a luxury spa, a trip to the theatre or just about anything that takes your fancy!
