The Airstrait™ automatically detects when hair is between the arms, reducing to low airflow when it’s not — for quieter, more efficient styling.

Glass bead thermistors measure airflow temperature up to 30 times per second, regulating heat to prevent damage and maintain shine.

Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor

A 13-blade impeller spins at 106,000rpm, propelling 11.9 litres of air per second and generating 3.6kPa of air pressure — powerful enough to straighten hair as it dries.

LCD screen

The high-definition colour display shows airflow and temperature settings clearly for easy reference during styling.

Lock feature

Slide the button to lock or unlock the arms. Use locked mode to pre-dry hair and add volume at the roots.

Auto-pause
