Rachel Valentine

Rachel has been in the hair industry for the last 12 years as a stylist, but also found a passion in education, providing her clients important advice for haircare and scalp health. Rachel is currently training as a trichologist and uses her content creation to share her knowledge with her 100k+ followers across her platforms.

With a remarkable 18-year journey within the company, Sian began her career as an apprentice at Headmasters’ flagship salon. Over the years, she has ascended through various roles, from Colour Lead to Academy Manager and Manager of the Artistic Team. Her expertise extends to trend forecasting and the formulation of innovative concepts, ensuring Headmasters remains at the forefront of the industry. In addition, Sian oversees the Headmasters London Academy and Art Team, spearheading colour education initiatives throughout the group. As the lead for colour in the annual Headmasters Main campaign, her creative vision sets the tone for the brand’s aesthetic direction.


Nicky Pope

Nicky Pope has been a journalist and event organiser in the hair industry for nearly 30 years. She’s UK Publisher for Tribu-te Magazine and owner of Colour World, Respect For Hair and HairClubLive. With a print magazine, websites, social media, podcasts and events in her portfolio of hair-related happenings, she has a broad vision and a keen passion for the UK hairdressing industry.


Dylan McConnachie

Dylan McConnachie is an award winning hair stylist based in London. In 2023 Dylan was a finalist for Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards 2023, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional. Here we share his collection in full for the first time. In 2017, he was the youngest person to win The Clothes Show Young Hairdresser of the Year Award in association with Hairdressers Journal and Dylan was a contestant on The Big Blow Out.

After being lucky enough to have always known her vocation, at age 16 Mellissa Brown keenly pursued her childhood dream. During her 10 years at Sassoon, learning and honing her craft, Mellissa progressed into teaching, and, working alongside Peter Grey, Jon Vial and Billy Currie, she steadily moved into the editorial side of hairdressing. Jennie Roberts was born in Ghana, West Africa, and moved to Manchester aged three. Alice Theobald

Thanks to her amazing talent, enthusiasm and personality, hair, makeup and men's grooming artist Alice Theobald has enjoyed an incredibly successful career. She works with supermodels, celebrities and royalty including HRH Princess Beatrice, Idris Elba and Lindsay Lohan. Along with editorial photoshoots for top magazines, Alice works for TV and her advertising client list extends across many top luxury brands from Graff to Moët & Chandon. London born Pauline is one of the industry’s most renowned self-taught celebrity make-up artists, with a career spanning 20 years. Pauline's hugely successful career has seen her work appear in editorials such as Glamour, Sports Illustrated and Forbes. Her TV experience includes prime time shows such as X Factor, Love Island, The Voice and Strictly Come Dancing. Working with celebrity beauties such as Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams and Jennifer Hudson.

Michelle Sultan’s career started out in the late 90s when she developed a LOVE for hairdressing. Lydia Dupree

Lydia has worked as an eyelash technician for 5 years, what started as a side business alongside her studies at University has since grown into a successful career and which she is truly passionate. Lydia loves to lash all her clients but her speciality is “classic” lashes. For the last 12 months Lydia has become an integral member of the Sally family as a graphic designer, creating beautiful artworks and allowing her to access the latest and greatest in eyelash products and treatments. Working closely with such amazing brands allows her to ensure that her clients the best quality lashes at every appointment.


Elke Van Daal

Elke Van Daal has worked at Sally Europe for 7 years with her current role specialising in online educational resources. Elke is an experienced Retail Trainer with a demonstrated history of working in the cosmetics industry and fashion retail. Having qualified in hairdressing, Elke is now a dedicated and enthusiastic educator. Her strong passion for the industry allows her to deliver first class product education. Gareth Williams

Gareth’s extensive career has seen him working with top beauty press, celebrities and influencers, earning him his reputation as the go-to colourist for lived in looks. Having worked in London’s Mayfair for more than a decade, Gareth also headed up the colour direction for one of the UK’s largest salon groups; a role which anchored his status within the industry. Gareth loves to create beautiful, bespoke colour and is constantly creating new techniques to educate and innovate. His career has seen him work all over the world, including India, Greece, Norway, Ireland and Sweden, working with iconic brands, on TV, the runway and shoots.

Errol Douglas MBE is one of the most respected names in modern hairdressing. Recognised throughout the world and known for his ever-evolving brand of glamorous hair that has no boundaries – creatively, or in its origins – he’s simply one of the best. Globally award-winning, Errol has run his prestigious Belgravia salon for four decades. As well as tending to a long list of celebrity clientele and working with some of the most elite brands on shows and photoshoots, Errol has recently taken up residency at the Peninsula Hotel in London with his own atelier salon.
