L'Oréal Professionnel Dia Light Demi Permanent Hair Colour 8.24 50ml

Acid technology colour for a seamless blend of colour. Dia Light is ammonia-free and seals the cuticle for a vinyl-like finish providing ultimate shine and +30% more conditioned hair*. Ideal for previously coloured or weakened hair. Dia Light is the perfect partner for a colour refresh and toning lengths and ends in between colour services to create a true and personalised colour result. With the technology of Dia Light, it softens the hair fibre, and simply adds tone without any lift. *After Dia Light application on bleached hair.

Mixture: 1:1.5 - In a non-metallic bowl or applicator bottle. For 50ml (1 tube) of Dia light gel-cream hair colourant. Add 75ml of Dia activateur 6 vol. (1.8%), 9 vol. (2.7%) or 15 vol. (4.5%), depending on the intensity of the desired result. Quantities of product can be increased if more is required, provided that the proportions 1:1.5 are respected. Wear suitable disposable gloves.

• Use exclusively with the recommended oxidants, 6 volume (1.8%), 9 volume (2.7%) or 15 volume (4.5%) maximum. Do not use with hydrogen peroxide greater than 15 vol. (4.5%).
• Use only the proportions indicated. Do not use metallic tools (clips, comb).
• Mix until a gel creamy texture is obtained. The product can be mixed in a non-metallic bowl or applicator bottle.

 

Application and rinsing: Apply to dry, unwashed hair with a tint brush or applicator bottle. Except: following a highlighting service, apply to towel-dried hair. Development time: 20 minutes. Gently emulsify, rinse thoroughly and finish with a specific post-colour shampoo. Wear suitable disposable gloves.

Do not use metallic tools (clips, comb etc). Follow the recommended development time. During the development time, the colour of the mixture will change. This is normal and has no effect on the final colour result. Rinse the hair well after the development time.

Take through techniques: French Balayage service to neutralise undertones after lightening or to tone faded highlights without lifting the natural base: 5 to 10 minutes’ development time depending on the sensitivity of the hair and the desired effect. French Glossing service to refresh faded lengths and ends after a root colour: apply the desired permanent hair colour to the roots.

Take through to the lengths and ends with the appropriate Dia Light shade 20 minutes before the end of the development time of the product applied to the roots. Create a Gloss on natural hair: 20 minutes’ development time. Colour the hair and/or add shine on the same day as perming or straightening, solely with Dia activateur 6 vol. (1.8%), 9 vol. (2.7%): 10 minutes’ development time.

Safety instructions hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. For you and your client, it is therefore essential to follow these precautions:

Wear suitable disposable gloves during the preparation, application and rinsing of the product. Read and follow instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary “black henna” tattoos may increase the risk of allergy.

Do not colour the hair if:

• Your client has a rash on their face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp,
• Your client has ever experienced any reaction after colouring their hair.
• Your client has experienced a reaction to a temporary “black henna” tattoo in the past.

 

You must do an allergy alert test without fail 48 hours before each use of this product (follow the instruction leaflet). Contains: phenylenediamines, resorcinol, phenylenediamines (toluenediamines), ammonia. Avoid contact with eyes.

Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse the eyes immediately and thoroughly if the product comes into contact with them. Rinse hair well after application. Wait at least 2 weeks after using a relaxer, a perm or a straightening process on the hair. Do not use if the hair has been coloured with henna, except for Botanea of l’Oréal Professional, or with a progressive hair colourant. Keep out of reach of children. Follow the instruction leaflet.
