Olaplex is a bond multiplier containing patented ingredient BisAminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate. This wonder ingredient actually seeks out and helps to repair disulphide bonds in the hair – these are the bonds that can easily get damaged during chemical services and from using too much heat.
Olaplex allows you to restore the strength, elasticity, structure and integrity of the hair before, during and after colour and chemical services in three easy steps. It also allows colour changes that weren’t previously possible such as dark to blonde in one appointment without compromising the health of the hair.
HOW TO USE OLAPLEX?
Olaplex can be used on any hair type whether it’s virgin hair or over-processed hair. Use in conjunction with your chemical services to help to rebuild disulphide bonds within the hair and prevent breakage during processing:
Bleaching, highlights and balyage
Relaxers
Colouring
Keratin treatments

IS OLAPLEX A CONDITIONER?
No, Olaplex is NOT a conditioner. Conditioners are cosmetic whereas Olaplex works internally to cross link single Sulphur hydrogen bonds to create disulphide bonds. Moisture and protein problems within the hair should be addressed separately.

STEP 1: No.1 BOND MULTIPLIER*
Mixed with your technical process, this concentrated first salon step rebuilds broken disulphide bonds and begins the process of preventing damage and repairing hair.
STEP 2: No.2 BOND PERFECTOR*
The second salon step continues to rebuild and restore any remaining broken bonds ensuring the strongest, shiniest, and healthiest hair possible.
*Available as part of the Salon and Stylist Kits only. Used after technical treatment
STEP 3: No.3 HAIR PERFECTOR
This final retail step contains the same active ingredients as No. 1 and No. 2 and provides the client’s continuous protection from ongoing damage at home..

Yes, you can use No. 2 for the following:
Mini treatments at the basin
Perm prep

If used with 30-60g of bleach, 3.75ml of Olaplex No. 1 is used therefore 100ml bottle = approximately 26 applications.**
If used more than 50ml on colour, 1.875ml of Olaplex No. 1 is used therefore 100ml bottle = approximately 53 applications.**
