How to Apply BIAB™: Step-by-Step Guide

BIAB™ is designed to streamline your service while delivering long-lasting, salon-quality results. Here’s a simplified application process to help you get started:

  • Step 1: Prep the Nail

    Begin by sanitising hands and prepping the natural nail. Push back cuticles and remove any non-living skin, remove shine from the nail plate using a gentle buffer, and cleanse thoroughly.

  • Step 2: Apply BIAB™ Base Layer

    Apply a thin, even layer of BIAB™ directly to the nail and cure under TGB’s Light The Way Lamp. For 99 seconds on Low Heat M This layer acts as both base and foundation.

  • Step 3: Build Structure

    Apply a second layer of BIAB™, focusing on building the apex and reinforcing the stress area. Use controlled brush movements to create a smooth, even surface. Cure again.

  • Step 4: Refine and Shape

    Once cured, using a 120/180 grit file to refine and a 100/180 file to smooth the surface and perfect the structure as needed.

  • Step 5: Top Coat & Finish

    Apply your preferred TGB Top Coat to seal and add shine. Cure for 60 seconds, then wait another 60 seconds before applying cuticle oil to avoid dulling the finish.

BIAB™ can be infilled every 3–4 weeks, making it a practical and efficient choice for repeat appointments.
