The overall mood of this Forgotten Fable trend is enchanted and mystical… with added glamour for the December party season.
Look 1
Hairdresser Jamie Richards, who created the look, says, “After warming up our blondes in summer 2019, we’ll be reaching for pearlescent blonde for winter! Blondes with holographic pinks and lavender sheerness to them are perfect for this season, along with glossy, expensive high shine finish.
“Also adding accents of mottled colour gives a visually dynamic look to your blonde clients. Colour strokes of pepper red and galactic blue were placed into the hair using a marbling colour technique, seamlessly blending all of these shades together.”
For the colour, Jamie used Kenra Color Simply Blonde Sheer Tone in Steel mixed with Kenra Simply Blonde Developer 10Vol. He also used Celeb Luxury Shampoo shades Extreme Red & Extreme Purple, Pastel Blue and Pastel Pink.
Want to recreate the look? Jamie used root lift, shine spray and dry texture sprays to style the hair.
He says, “Styling wise we kept the first look commercial and classic, using a waving technique throughout the hair which allowed the colours to explode through the ends.
“Adding waves and movement to the hair is always fun for the festive season. A more unique way to wear the waves is to tuck each side behind the ears and allow the hair to drape down your back, serving effortless glamour.”

Look 2
This is a bold, wet-look your clients will love! Jamie says, “This second look is a little more risqué…totally drenched! Are you brave enough to wear this uber cool look this season which has been seen on the likes of Gigi Hadid and Vanessa Hudgens.
“This is a softer version of how to wear your hair wet look, something we saw a lot on the runways in London and Paris for AW19. The hair was sprayed down to almost soaking, then the products were layered into the hair. I kept the roots sleek and encouraged natural movement through the ends by gently twisting the hair.
“A simple ear tuck is a beautiful feature to add that little bit of glamour. Use curl clips to hold the hair in place and dry the hair with a diffuser. Spray with silkening mist to add a premium gloss finish.”
To achieve the look, Jamie says, “Firstly I sprayed the hair with water and then layered in Kenra Silkening gloss, Kenra colour protect conditioner and Kenra curl mousse. I air dried the hair and finished with Kenra 30 Hairspray and heavy layer of silkening mist.
“You can easily turn this into an evening look with just product!”
