Nail enhancements are wonderful but treatment
should not stop at the nail bar. A client has as much responsibility
as the Nail Technician for maintaining the nail enhancements to ensure
long-term wear. Below are a few guidelines for making sure nail care
- like charity - begins at home.

like a car
Oil your nails twice a day to maintain your nails' flexibility. If
nails are allowed to become dry and brittle then they will crack and/or
break.

Cuticle Oil - 000722
Nails are Precious
Severe pressure placed upon nail extensions will lead to damage or
breaks. Try to avoid tasks which will increase the pressure on nails.
For example do not open cans of juice - use a coin/implement. Remember
if you are reaching for something with your fingertips - your nails
will get there first!
Size Matters
Do not let your nails get too long for your lifestyle. If you feel
the tips have grown too long for your level of activity/daily routine
between visits to the nail bar contact your Nail Technician. It is
vital that you discuss level of activity with your technician before
treatment.
We have lift-off
Nail extensions should be airtight once applied but certain pressure
can cause lifting. Use a 240-grit file to remove rough edges or blend
lifted areas into natural nail plate. Reseal the product with a drop
of oil massaged into the nail surface then buff to a dull shine with
a 360-grit buffer. Use a 3-way shiner block to get a high shine.

A change is as
good as a rest
When changing polish remove the nail polish with regular polish remover
and a lint-free nail wipe. Non-acetone remover may be more suitable
but it will take more time to soften polish. Once removed wash hands
and scrub nails with a soft brush. Apply and massage cuticle oil into
the product surface and cuticles. Buff oil into the the nail surface
to re-seal the product. Either buff to a high shine with a 3-way buffer
or re-apply with one thin layer of base coat, 2 thin coats of enamel
and a thin coat of top coat - allow drying of layers between coats.
