Wimbledon nailed!

Posted on 7th July 2015 by PROinsider

It’s the two weeks of the year when drinking double-cream is perfectly normal, the summer whites are out and we get to stare dreamingly at Kim Sear’s hair. This year, Wimbledon has been extra stylish with celebs like Anna Wintour, Ella Eyre and Millie Mackintosh popping up in the crowds. So, to celebrate one of our favourite sporting events of the year, we’ve rounded up the best tennis inspired nail art designs that you’ve served up…

This simple design is perfect for any nail art newbies, and we love the neon yellow for Summer

Keep the delicious Wimbledon strawberries at your fingertips by recreating these tennis talons. Start with a red base, and then apply green to cuticles for the leaves. Finish with yellow dots for the seeds and use the same polish for the other nails.

These nails are ace! Use a thin brush like the Gelish Mini Striper Brush with a white polish to create the intricate lines.

If you’re looking for a subtle way to celebrate Wimbledon, go for pastel shades with a pearlescent finish like these.

For clients who aren’t ready to rock the strawberry look on their nails, go for the Wimbledon colour theme instead and experiment with pattern.

If your client hasn’t been struck with Murray-mania, just add a subtle nod to Wimbledon with a tennis themed feature nail.
